So it snowed again today and again the schools were still open…I’m beginning to think that the only way they will close is if Jesus came with trumpets blaring or if the Zombie-apocalypse took place…or maybe both..that would be interesting to see.
I digress…spring break takes place next week and I will be praying the schools were open to take back my kids during the restless week filled with video games, trashed bedrooms and sibling fistfights…maybe I’ll start charging admission…that might help pay for the damages that will be incurred in the process.
I feel like that kid in the book ‘Alexander’s no good, very bad day’…I want to exclaim ‘I think I’ll move to Australia’. I’m not sure about you but I’m so ready for winter to be over with, that groundhog can keep its predictions and its toothy grin too!
Where, oh where is the sun? I could use a little more vitamin ‘D’ in my life right now.
Random observations today. One bit of wisdom I would impart to you today is to enjoy each day as they come. If we all would stop focusing on how we wished our day was better we would be happier for it. I need to take my own advice today! Why waste my time on what isn’t than what IS…today. If we can all do more of this then we might find ourselves appreciating life a little bit more. So stop and smell the roses today…so to speak!
