Of the falling snow (a poem)

Snow is hovering in the air today

weightless, space like, without gravity

it glimmers and glistens

as it floats between my vision

they dance

I am unaware of the tune

but I have seen its evidence here.

Does beauty have a tune?

I tell you it does.

How can it not when all around

evidence of the Creator’s touch

speaks into the fragile balance?

My feet crunch under its softness

as I venture out into creation

once more…this time my eyes

are open.
